A progress snapshot is a point-in-time record used to build a rider's progress history.
Manual progress updates are useful when you want to record progress without a video or scorecard.
Scorecard-driven snapshots store rubric dimension scores, labels, deltas, and score scale so trend charts can show both standard and custom dimensions.
Before You Start
- The rider must have an active rider profile in the current barn.
- Your role must allow you to review or manage rider progress.
Steps
- 1Open Progress.
- 2Choose Create Snapshot.
- 3Select the rider.
- 4Select a horse when the snapshot should contribute to horse-rider pairing history.
- 5Add optional notes.
- 6Create the snapshot.
- 7Refresh or reopen the rider progress view to confirm the snapshot appears.
Troubleshooting
No riders appear in the dropdown.
Confirm the riders have active rider profiles in the current barn. Riders should not need an existing snapshot to appear.
A custom rubric dimension does not appear after creating a manual snapshot.
A manual progress update shows only the information entered at the time. The barn’s own scoring categories appear when the update includes scores, usually from a scorecard or lesson review.
