How progress snapshots are created
Understand how published scorecards add rider progress checkpoints.

A progress snapshot is a point-in-time record used to build a rider's progress history.
BarnPage creates snapshots from scorecards when a trainer publishes a lesson or lesson-video review.
Snapshots store rubric dimension scores, labels, deltas, and score scale so trend charts can show both standard and custom dimensions.
Before You Start
- The rider must have an active rider profile in the current barn.
- Your role must allow you to review or manage rider progress.
- The lesson or video review must include a scorecard for the rider.
Steps
- 1Open the lesson or video review.
- 2Complete the rider scorecard using the active barn rubric.
- 3Approve and publish the review.
- 4Open Progress and select the rider.
- 5Confirm the new snapshot appears in the rider timeline and trend chart.
Troubleshooting
The rider does not appear on the Progress page.
Confirm the rider has an active rider profile and is included in the trainer’s lessons or barn-wide progress scope.
The published review did not create a snapshot.
Confirm the review includes a scorecard for the rider and reached the published state. Draft or approved-only reviews do not add rider-visible progress.
