Manage your profile and personal details

Update your display name, profile photo, birth date, password, and parent lesson approval preferences.

Profile Settings controls personal account details that follow you across barns. Barn-specific roles, rider records, and permissions are managed separately by each barn.

Birth date supports rider age, guardian, consent, and minor privacy workflows. Enter it as YYYY-MM-DD and make sure it belongs to the account holder.

Parents and guardians can open Lesson approval preferences from Profile Settings to control whether each linked child needs approval for every lesson invitation or request.

Steps

  1. 1Open your account menu, then open Profile Settings.
  2. 2Upload an optional JPG, PNG, or WebP profile photo up to 8MB. BarnPage resizes it for profile areas.
  3. 3Update the display name or birth date, then choose Save Profile.
  4. 4To change a known password, enter the current password and a new password with at least eight characters.
  5. 5If you are a linked Parent or Guardian, open Lesson approval preferences and set auto-approval separately for each child.
  6. 6Contact support if a verified account email must change or if you need account deletion. Verified email addresses are not editable from Profile Settings.

Troubleshooting

A birth date is rejected.

Use YYYY-MM-DD, enter a real calendar date, and do not enter a future date.

A linked child is missing from Lesson approval preferences.

Confirm the correct barn is active and ask barn staff to verify the Parent or Guardian link to that rider profile.

The current password is not known.

Sign out and use Forgot password instead of the in-account password change form.
