Share arena ideas in the feed
Use Arena Editor to sketch a layout idea and publish it to the barn feed for feedback.
Arena Editor is available to riders for drafting arena ideas inside the active barn.
Rider-created ideas do not become operational Barn Specific templates. They publish to the barn feed as arena idea posts so trainers and barn members can react and comment.
Staff with Arena Editor template permission can use the same editor to save Barn Specific templates for Ringside Arena Mode.
Arena ideas are non-MEGAN drafts. MEGAN Arena Prep is a separate trainer tool available during Trial and on Premium.
Arena Editor and MEGAN use the same arena layout format, including real arena dimensions, physical equipment spans, and editable line, grid, fan, circle, and other patterns.
Steps
- 1Sign in, switch to the correct barn, and open Arena Editor from Coaching.
- 2Choose a starter layout or import a JSON layout.
- 3Add individual objects or patterns, then move, rotate, duplicate, label, or remove them from the top toolbar.
- 4Use More for arena dimensions, zoom, snapping, JSON or image export, keyboard movement, multi-select, alignment, and distribution.
- 5Enter an arena idea title and a short note describing what feedback you want.
- 6Choose Publish arena idea to feed.
- 7Open the feed post to read comments and reactions from trainers or barn members.
Troubleshooting
Publish is disabled.
Your barn may have feed posting disabled for your role. Ask an owner or manager to review feed settings.
I want an idea to become a Ringside template.
Ask a staff member with Arena Editor template access to recreate or save the idea as a Barn Specific template. Rider ideas never become operational templates automatically.
