Barn Setup
Use the Arena Layout Designer
Draft arena layouts outside BarnPage without signing in.
The Arena Layout Designer is a free public planning tool. It does not require a BarnPage account, barn membership, or Premium plan.
Use it to sketch approximate arena setups with poles, ground rails, standards, jumps, cones, barrels, and markers.
Public layouts stay in your browser unless you copy a share link or export the JSON. They do not use barn data, rider data, lesson schedules, or MEGAN.
The designer is separate from authenticated barn templates and MEGAN Arena Prep. Signed-in owners, managers, head trainers, and assistant trainers can save barn-specific templates from Arena Editor.
Steps
- 1Open the Arena Layout Designer from the public navigation.
- 2Choose a starter template or begin with the default ground pole layout.
- 3Tap an object in the diagram to select it.
- 4Drag objects to move them, drag the rotate handle to turn them, and use the top toolbar to add, delete, duplicate, undo, redo, edit labels/notes, snap, measure spacing, or export.
- 5Save the layout in your browser, copy a share link, copy JSON, or download the JSON file.
Troubleshooting
The layout is not saved after switching devices.
Public layouts are stored only in the current browser unless you copy a share link or download the JSON.
The designer does not include rider or horse context.
Use Barn Specific templates in Ringside when you want a saved layout, or use Premium MEGAN Arena Prep when you need BarnPage to plan from lesson, rider, horse, arena, and schedule context.
