Configure barn settings

Set operational defaults for scheduling, approvals, privacy, notifications, and progress workflows.

Settings control how the barn behaves. Review settings before adding many lessons or members so default workflows match your real barn policy.

Some settings affect privacy or approvals, so only trusted administrative roles should manage them.

Steps

  1. 1Open Settings.
  2. 2Review each tab before launching the barn.
  3. 3Save one group of settings at a time.
  4. 4Create a test lesson and invite flow if you changed schedule policies.
  5. 5Revisit settings after the barn has used BarnPage for a few weeks.

Settings to review early

  • Scheduling defaults, cancellation windows, and waitlist behavior.
  • Media approval, default media visibility, strict rider privacy, and gallery media retention.
  • Scorecard rubric dimensions, labels, weights, and scoring scale used for reviews and progress.
  • Highlights, highlight categories, leaderboard mode, leaderboard visibility, and minor privacy settings.
  • Plan, billing, member limits, and MEGAN analysis quota settings.
  • Notification timing for lesson reminders.
