Understand plan rider limits and billing

Know how each plan affects rider limits, lesson reviews, video, and MEGAN analysis.

Each plan determines how many active riders the barn can have and which review, video, and MEGAN tools are included.

If your barn has a custom arrangement, the limit shown in Plan & Billing is the one BarnPage uses.

New barns begin on Free. Signup does not start the one-time Trial; an eligible owner starts it from Plan & Billing when the barn is ready.

Paid plan changes are support-managed unless BarnPage has enabled Paddle billing for the barn. When Paddle billing is enabled, an active or trialing Starter, Standard, or Premium subscription controls access automatically.

Steps

  1. 1Open Settings and review Plan & Billing to confirm the current tier, whether Trial access has an expiration date, and whether the one-time Trial has already been used.
  2. 2Check current rider usage before inviting or creating a large rider group.
  3. 3If the barn needs a different rider limit, contact BarnPage support to discuss the available options.
  4. 4Check the remaining MEGAN analyses separately when using Trial or Standard.
  5. 5Communicate plan changes before adding riders or starting MEGAN analysis at scale.

Default tier limits

  • Trial lasts 14 days and can be started once by a barn owner from Plan & Billing without a credit card. It supports up to 20 riders and includes manual reviews, scorecards, video upload, 35 MEGAN video analyses, MEGAN Ringside, and MEGAN Arena Prep. When it ends, access returns to Free automatically and existing records remain.
  • Free supports up to 20 riders and includes core scheduling, members, progress, feed, photo media, highlights, and notifications.
  • Starter supports up to 50 riders and adds manual lesson reviews and per-rider scorecards.
  • Standard supports unlimited riders and adds video upload, playback, and 150 MEGAN video analyses each calendar month, reset on the first day.
  • Premium supports unlimited riders and unlimited MEGAN analyses, plus MEGAN Ringside, MEGAN Arena Prep, and priority support.

Choose by the way your barn works

  • Choose Free for a small barn that needs scheduling, records, community, and progress tracking without review or video tools.
  • Choose Starter when trainers want structured written lesson feedback and scorecards without lesson video.
  • Choose Standard for an active lesson-video program that uses trainer-reviewed MEGAN drafts each calendar month.
  • Choose Premium for a multi-trainer or high-volume program that wants unlimited MEGAN analysis, MEGAN Ringside, and Arena Prep.
  • Use the one-time Trial to test the review, video, and MEGAN workflow with a small group before choosing a paid plan.

Custom rider limits

  • Some barns may have a custom rider limit arranged with BarnPage.
  • Plan & Billing shows the limit currently used for your barn.
  • A custom rider limit does not change the number of MEGAN analyses included with the plan.

Troubleshooting

A student rider invite or rider profile fails because the barn is at its limit.

Check the current plan, active rider count, invited student riders, and the rider limit shown in Plan & Billing. Upgrade or contact support before adding more riders.

MEGAN analysis is unavailable even though the barn has unlimited riders.

Rider limits do not control MEGAN analysis. Confirm the plan supports MEGAN analysis and that quota remains available unless the barn is Premium.
