Understand MEGAN plan access and quota limits
Know when MEGAN is available, what Standard includes, what Premium adds, and what to check when analysis is unavailable.
MEGAN analysis is available on Trial, Standard, and Premium plans. It is not available on Free or Starter.
Trial includes 35 MEGAN video analyses during the 14-day evaluation period. Standard includes 150 analyses each calendar month, reset on the first day. Premium includes unlimited analyses.
Signup does not start the Trial. New barns begin on Free, and the owner can start the one-time Trial from Plan & Billing without a credit card when the barn is ready.
If BarnPage has enabled Paddle billing for the barn, active or trialing Standard and Premium subscriptions drive MEGAN access and quota behavior automatically.
MEGAN Ringside lesson planning and MEGAN Arena Prep are available on Trial and Premium. They prefer recent trainer-approved MEGAN suggested exercises, and both can fall back to conservative baseline planning from rider focus areas, rider/horse context, lesson type, and arena details when exercise history is missing.
Quota and plan access control MEGAN analysis, while rider limits control how many active riders the barn can have.
What to check when MEGAN is unavailable
- The barn plan must be Trial, Standard, or Premium.
- The user must have review/video permissions for the barn.
- The video must be uploaded and processed far enough for analysis or review.
- Trial and Standard barns must have remaining MEGAN analyses.
- The video should have the correct lesson and rider tags so analysis can be tied to the right feedback.
- MEGAN Ringside and Arena Prep can prepare a conservative starting plan without exercise history, but the barn must be on Trial or Premium, the trainer must have review access, and the day must have scheduled lessons.
What counts as analysis
Each MEGAN video analysis request uses the barn’s available analysis allowance, and running an analysis again may use another one. Trial includes 35 analyses in total. Standard includes 150 each calendar month and resets on the first day. MEGAN Ringside and Arena Prep are available during Trial and on Premium and do not use Standard’s video-analysis allowance. Contact support before running a large batch if you are unsure how many requests remain.
Troubleshooting
The MEGAN button is missing.
Check plan tier first, then user permissions, video processing status, and rider tags. If the barn is on Free or Starter, MEGAN will not be available. If the barn was on Trial, confirm the trial has not expired.
Standard plan analysis stops working late in the month.
The calendar-month quota may be exhausted. Standard resets to 150 analyses on the first day of the next month. Upgrade to Premium or contact support if the barn needs additional analysis before then. Trial quota does not reset because the Trial lasts 14 days.
MEGAN Ringside is unavailable.
Confirm the barn is on Trial or Premium, MEGAN is enabled, the user has review permissions, and the lesson has rider profiles. If recent trainer-approved exercise history is missing, MEGAN Ringside should create a conservative baseline plan instead of blocking.
MEGAN Arena Prep is unavailable.
Confirm the barn is on Trial or Premium, the trainer has review access, and the day has scheduled lessons. If exercise history is missing, Arena Prep should prepare a conservative starting plan instead of stopping.
