Use MEGAN Ringside lesson plans
Generate Trial/Premium trainer-only lesson plan drafts from recent approved MEGAN exercise suggestions.
MEGAN Ringside is a Trial/Premium trainer planning tool in the Ringside view.
It synthesizes recent trainer-approved MEGAN suggested exercises for riders in the lesson into a practical warm-up, main plan, rider-specific adjustments, and safety/setup notes.
If recent trainer-approved exercise history is missing, it creates a lower-confidence conservative baseline from rider focus areas, rider level, rider discipline, rider goals, horse level, horse discipline, lesson type, lesson description, and arena details.
In Arena Mode, MEGAN Ringside uses the confirmed arena layout for that point in the day, including trainer-confirmed carry-forward setup changes from prior completed lessons. Lesson Mode does not require Arena Prep.
Inputs can include lesson title, lesson type, date/time, arena, free-text lesson description, Ringside lesson notes, rider levels, rider disciplines, rider goals, horse level, horse disciplines, prior score focus, and recent trainer-approved MEGAN exercise suggestions.
Plans are trainer-only draft ideas. They are not published to riders or parents and do not replace trainer judgment.
Steps
- 1Open Ringside and find the active lesson.
- 2Confirm the lesson has the right riders and horse assignments.
- 3In Lesson Mode, tap MEGAN Ringside on the active lesson.
- 4In Arena Mode, run Arena Prep first, review or edit the starting diagram, and tap Confirm Layout before arena-aware MEGAN Ringside is available.
- 5For each Arena Mode lesson, generate Arena Setup Changes first, confirm those changes, then tap Generate Arena-Aware Plan. MEGAN uses the current confirmed layout, keeps setup changes small, and carries the resulting arena state forward after the lesson is completed. If the trainer edits the confirmed layout later, downstream setup changes must be regenerated.
- 6Review the generated lesson focus, warm-up, main plan, rider adjustments, and safety notes.
- 7Adjust the plan for rider level, horse fitness, footing, arena traffic, weather, and trainer judgment before using it.
Troubleshooting
MEGAN Ringside shows a baseline plan.
That means recent trainer-approved exercise history was missing for at least one rider. Review the conservative plan carefully and adjust for horse fitness, footing, and trainer judgment.
Only some riders are reflected in the plan.
The plan can still generate from available riders. Add or approve MEGAN reviews for riders who are missing context.
The plan does not fit today’s footing, horse, or rider.
Treat the output as trainer-only draft prep. Choose safer fallback exercises or rewrite the plan before using it.
