Create a manual lesson review

Record trainer feedback and scorecard data without uploading a video.

Manual reviews are useful when a trainer wants to record structured feedback without video.

If feedback should be based on a lesson video, use the lesson page Video Review action instead of the manual review action.

Manual reviews can still support scorecards and progress when the workflow creates or updates snapshot data.

Ringside notes from the lesson are shown during manual review so trainers can reuse useful context without retyping it.

Steps

  1. 1Open the lesson detail page.
  2. 2Choose the review or feedback action.
  3. 3Select the rider if the lesson has multiple riders.
  4. 4Review any Ringside notes and append them to the appropriate summary when they should influence the feedback.
  5. 5Enter scores and written feedback.
  6. 6Review student and parent-visible summaries.
  7. 7Approve or publish according to your barn workflow.
