Create consolidated lesson feedback
Create one rider feedback package from trainer notes and any selected lesson clips.
Lesson feedback can be trainer-written, supported by selected lesson clips, or both.
When several clips show the same rider in one lesson, keep the source videos separate and select up to eight clips for one consolidated review.
BarnPage can combine existing MEGAN drafts and scorecards from the selected clips without starting another provider request. Trainers must review and edit the combined draft before publishing.
Publishing creates one rider summary, one parent summary, one notification, and one progress snapshot for the lesson and rider.
If selected clips already have separate feedback, that feedback remains available while the consolidated review is a draft. Publishing the consolidated review archives and replaces the clip-specific feedback and removes duplicate progress snapshots.
Ringside notes from the lesson are shown during review so trainers can reuse useful context without retyping it.
Steps
- 1Open the lesson detail page.
- 2Choose Lesson feedback.
- 3Select the rider if the lesson has multiple riders.
- 4Select and order the lesson clips that support this rider’s feedback.
- 5Preview the clips and choose Combine selected drafts when MEGAN drafts or scorecards are available.
- 6Review any Ringside notes and append them to the appropriate summary when they should influence the feedback.
- 7Edit the combined summaries and scores, or enter trainer-written feedback manually.
- 8Review student and parent-visible summaries.
- 9Save a draft or publish the review when it is ready.
