Troubleshooting
Troubleshoot feedback that is not visible
Find out why a rider or parent cannot see lesson feedback, scorecards, summaries, or video review results.
Feedback visibility is controlled by review status, publishing, rider tags, parent links, permissions, and the active barn.
MEGAN and trainer notes may exist before a rider or parent can see them. Draft or in-review content stays staff-only until it is approved and published.
Steps
- 1Confirm everyone is viewing the correct barn.
- 2Confirm the review is approved or published, not only saved as a draft or in review.
- 3For video reviews, confirm the rider is tagged on the video or is the primary rider.
- 4For parents, confirm the parent account is linked to the child rider profile.
- 5Check that student or parent summaries are filled in and do not contain staff-only notes by mistake.
- 6Confirm the lesson/video is not still processing or failed.
- 7Ask a trainer or manager to verify role permissions if the content should be visible.
Troubleshooting
The trainer can see feedback but the rider cannot.
The review may not be published for the rider yet, or the rider tag/profile may be wrong. Check review status and rider tags.
A parent can see the child schedule but not feedback.
Confirm the review was published to the parent-facing audience and the parent is linked to the correct rider profile.
A score changed but progress did not update.
Confirm a progress snapshot exists for the review and refresh the rider progress page after publishing or regenerating snapshot data.
