Role Workflows
Use the rider hub for feedback, videos, goals, and progress
Understand how BarnPage brings lesson feedback, videos, goals, and progress into one private hub.
The rider hub is the private BarnPage experience where riders and linked parents can follow published coaching context.
Trainers and staff control what becomes visible. Draft reviews, MEGAN output, Ringside plans, Arena Prep, and staff notes remain private until staff publish feedback riders can see.
The hub connects lesson feedback, lesson videos, rider goals, focus areas, progress snapshots, highlights, and barn updates when the member account and consent settings allow access.
Steps
- 1Create or activate rider profiles with goals, disciplines, and the right parent links.
- 2Schedule lessons with the rider, trainer, horse, arena, and lesson context.
- 3Publish manual feedback or reviewed MEGAN video feedback.
- 4Use scorecards or progress snapshots so goals and trends stay visible over time.
- 5Confirm video tags, review status, account access, and consent settings before expecting a rider or parent to see media or feedback.
- 6Direct riders and parents to their dashboard, schedule, feedback, videos, and progress views as their private hub.
What belongs in the rider hub
- Published trainer feedback and rider-friendly summaries.
- Lesson videos the rider is tagged in or otherwise has access to.
- Goals, focus areas, scorecards, and progress trends.
- Schedule context, announcements, highlights, and barn updates when enabled.
What stays private
- Draft reviews, in-review MEGAN output, and staff-only trainer notes.
- Ringside lesson plans and Arena Prep plans unless staff separately publish feedback riders can see.
- Other riders, horses, schedules, videos, or progress records that the member role cannot access.
Troubleshooting
A rider or parent cannot see feedback.
Confirm the review is published, the rider is tagged or linked correctly, the parent link exists if needed, and the member is viewing the correct barn.
Progress is empty.
Confirm a published review or progress snapshot exists for that rider and that the rider profile is active.
