Barn Setup
Create a barn and complete setup
Set up the core barn records that make scheduling, members, and progress work correctly.
Owner/Admin
A barn is the private workspace for your organization. Schedules, members, horses, riders, videos, and progress all live inside a barn.
The most useful first setup path is: barn profile, arenas, horses, riders, trainers, members, and first lessons. A public barn page is optional; use it when you want BarnPage to also be your public online presence.
Steps
- 1Create the barn from your account dashboard.
- 2Add or confirm barn profile information in Settings.
- 3Optional: upload a barn logo and start the Public Page builder if you want a public barn website.
- 4Create arenas so lessons can reserve real spaces.
- 5Add horses and set active status for horses currently in work.
- 6Invite trainers, staff, riders, and parents.
- 7Create rider profiles for members who ride.
- 8Create a first lesson or lesson series.
- 9Review the owner dashboard for setup status and operating picture.
Optional public barn page
- Use Settings > Public Page when you want BarnPage to create a public website for your barn.
- This can wait until after core private setup. Drafts stay private until you publish.
- A public page can show programs, photos, video, visit details, contact options, and inquiries without exposing private rider, schedule, video, member, or progress data.
