Barn Setup

Create a barn and complete setup

Set up the core barn records that make scheduling, members, and progress work correctly.

Owner/Admin

A barn is the private workspace for your organization. Schedules, members, horses, riders, videos, and progress all live inside a barn.

The most useful first setup path is: barn profile, arenas, horses, riders, trainers, members, and first lessons. A public barn page is optional; use it when you want BarnPage to also be your public online presence.

Steps

  1. 1Create the barn from your account dashboard.
  2. 2Add or confirm barn profile information in Settings.
  3. 3Optional: upload a barn logo and start the Public Page builder if you want a public barn website.
  4. 4Create arenas so lessons can reserve real spaces.
  5. 5Add horses and set active status for horses currently in work.
  6. 6Invite trainers, staff, riders, and parents.
  7. 7Create rider profiles for members who ride.
  8. 8Create a first lesson or lesson series.
  9. 9Review the owner dashboard for setup status and operating picture.

Optional public barn page

  • Use Settings > Public Page when you want BarnPage to create a public website for your barn.
  • This can wait until after core private setup. Drafts stay private until you publish.
  • A public page can show programs, photos, video, visit details, contact options, and inquiries without exposing private rider, schedule, video, member, or progress data.
