Media and Video
What is MEGAN?
Understand where MEGAN helps trainers and where trainer approval stays required.
MEGAN stands for Machine Equestrian Guidance & Analysis Network. In BarnPage, MEGAN is an assistant for trainers, not a replacement for trainer judgment.
MEGAN Video Review drafts lesson analysis from uploaded video frames. Trainers review, edit, approve, and publish before riders or parents see feedback.
MEGAN Ringside and MEGAN Arena Prep are trainer-only planning workflows. They use barn, lesson, rider, horse, arena, and recent approved-feedback context where available.
Arena Editor ideas are separate from MEGAN. They are non-AI layout drafts that barn members can publish to the feed for feedback.
Steps
- 1For video review: upload a lesson video, wait for processing, review MEGAN draft output, then approve and publish.
- 2For Ringside Lesson Mode: open the current lesson, add trainer notes, and generate trainer-only MEGAN Ringside planning ideas when available.
- 3For Arena Mode: confirm a starting layout, review MEGAN Arena Setup Changes one lesson at a time, confirm those changes, then generate the arena-aware lesson plan.
- 4If output is not accurate enough, edit it, mark that changes are needed, or retry according to the workflow.
The simple MEGAN flow
- Upload video -> MEGAN draft -> trainer review -> publish feedback.
- Ringside -> trainer-only planning -> trainer adapts at the lesson.
- Arena Prep -> layout/setup draft -> trainer confirms -> lesson plan uses the confirmed setup.
Troubleshooting
A rider or parent cannot see MEGAN feedback.
Confirm the trainer has published the review. Draft, in-review, and approved-but-unpublished feedback stays trainer-only.
An Arena Editor idea did not use MEGAN.
That is expected. Arena ideas are non-AI feed posts. MEGAN Arena Prep is a Premium Ringside workflow that trainers explicitly run.
